Tribedo – Our success story since 2001

Opset – the present Tribedo – was founded in November 2001 to provide OP Pohjola with a partner capable of both meeting its needs and anticipating the future, and supporting OP Pohjola’s strategic objectives. The company’s founders saw a demand in the financial sector for services that combined dependability, cost-effectiveness and flexibility. ISS Palvelut joined as a partner and main shareholder alongside OP Pohjola, beginning the story of the joint venture.

The year 2021 marked a turning-point for the company. The multi-industry company Bravedo bought out the share of ISS Palvelut, resulting in the birth of Tribedo – a next-generation service company. Bravedo brought with it greater opportunities for developing our services and reinforcing our capabilities. The cooperation helped us become a more versatile and agile partner for OP Pohjola.

The first part of the name Tribedo is a reference to the cooperation between OP Pohjola, Bravedo and Tribedo. The first part of our name, “Tribe”, refers to OP Pohjola’s agile method and Bravedo’s growing group of companies. The word “Tribe” also refers to our way of working together as an agile and accomplished team. The second part of our name, “do”, is a reference to Bravedo, as well as to our willingness, motivation and ability to achieve results.

Our growth has been significant. From just 36 employees when the company was founded, Tribedo today employs as many as around 900 people. Our turnover has also grown at a staggering pace and amounted to nearly 53 million euros in 2024.

Our mission has remained unchanged: we speed up the realisation of OP Pohjola’s strategy and strengthen OP Pohjola’s capacity for change with the aid of Bravedo’s network of partner companies. We provide solutions that are founded on our customer insight and unique expertise and aimed at transforming OP Pohjola’s operations.

At Tribedo, our eyes are always on the future. We provide adaptable and innovative employment solutions and have the courage to act boldly and quickly. We work every day towards this goal. We develop new solutions and services that help our partners achieve their goals.
